2020 is Hindsight!

Updated: Mar 2, 2022

Happy New Year! The time of year where everyone from around the world joins together in the hoping that this year isn’t nearly as messed up as the one before. 2020 seems like it’s been the trial of our lives, and because I’m sure everything about this dumpster fire of year has been said too many times I’ll keep it brief. After a relatively normal start to the year, events took a drastic turn and its been a rollercoaster since. I know I don’t have to go through it all here because, well, you’ve been living it too.

Not everything that has happened has been bad though. In March we played a killer string of shows in Europe and the pandemic pushed our latest drummer Max Friesen into our lives. With any distraction posed by live shows removed we have focused heavily on writing in a way we haven’t been able to in years and should be able to start teasing new material not far in the future.

It is incredibly tempting to believe that when the clock struck midnight it marked the end to this hellish time but it remains to be seen what 2021 holds for us. We must hold hope in our hearts that this year sees a return to live shows and a better level of “normal.” Keep the Faith, Keep it Real, and more than ever in 2021,

KEEP IT STEEL!
